WE’RE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR PARTNERS
Future 1 Gateway™ exists because too many good athletes miss out on opportunities they earned, simply because nobody with the right contacts was watching. A profile and some film go a long way towards fixing that. Money, access and a set of eyes on the ground go the rest of the way — and that is where partners come in.
We are always looking for organizations that share the same view: that a kid’s shot at the next level should depend on how they play, not on what their family can afford or who they happen to know. Local businesses, schools, clubs, foundations, media and brands all have a part to play in that, and none of them have to be big to matter.
Below are a few of the ways we work with partners today. If what you had in mind is not on the list, tell us anyway — the good ideas usually are not.
WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER
Sponsor A Weekly Challenge
Put your name on a skills challenge athletes actually want to enter. You set the prize, we run the entries, judging and leaderboard, and every athlete on the platform can take part — not just the ones who already get invited to things.
For example: A local feed store backing a strength challenge; a bagel shop backing a bagel-shaped-route agility drill. The best ones tie to what the business actually does.
Back An Event Or Showcase
Combines, ID camps and showcases cost money to run, and that cost usually lands on families. Underwrite an event and we can cut or drop entry fees, with results flowing straight onto every athlete profile afterwards.
For example: Title sponsorship of a county-wide combine, or covering the registration fee for a set number of athletes on free or reduced lunch.
Provide Equipment Or Facilities
Field time, gym access, cleats, timing gear, a camera that shoots decent film. The gap between a recruited athlete and an unrecruited one is often just access to the things that make them visible.
For example: Off-season access to an indoor facility, or a gear drop for athletes who need boots and gear to compete in the first place.
Fund The Costs That Stop People
Camp fees, a tank of gas, a hotel the night before a showcase. Small amounts of money decide who gets seen. A named fund lets us cover those costs quietly, without an athlete having to ask in public.
For example: A travel fund in your business name, awarded on need rather than on ranking, with a short report back on where it went.
Bring A Whole Program On
Schools, clubs and travel programs can onboard an entire roster at once, so every athlete gets a profile and film rather than only the ones whose families already know how recruiting works.
For example: A district signing up its athletic department, or a travel club adding its full roster before showcase season.
Tell The Stories
Local press, photographers, videographers and podcasts who cover high school sport properly. We will put athletes, film and results in front of you; you make sure the kids who deserve coverage get it.
For example: A photographer shooting profile film at an event, or a local outlet running a weekly feature on an athlete from the platform.
HOW WE WORK
Four things we will not trade away, whatever the partnership is worth.
No pay-to-play placement
Money never moves an athlete up a coach’s search results. Partners get their name on a challenge, an event or a fund — not on the ranking.
Athlete data is not for sale
We do not sell or share athlete data, and we do not hand over contact details for minors. Partners get reach and recognition, never a mailing list.
Safeguarding comes first
Most of our athletes are under 18. Anything involving them runs through monitored channels with guardian consent, and we will say no to activity that does not clear that bar.
Need over notoriety
Where a partnership covers costs, we award on need rather than on who is already being recruited. That is the whole point of doing this.
TELL US WHAT YOU HAVE IN MIND
No deck required. A couple of sentences about who you are and what you were thinking is enough to start — we will come back to you with something concrete rather than a sales call. Prefer email? Reach us at partners@future1gateway.com.
Not a partner inquiry? If you coach, you can search the whole database for free. If you play, your profile takes about ten minutes.
